Even though the last little while has been a little too much "LiveJournal is experiencing performance problems" to my liking, and even though long work hours have kept me off the boards, the last little while has pushed me past 100 support points, I've gained a set of I2 privileges, and I've just submitted my first patch.
Whee! That was the recharge I needed, I think.
