But it's always the little things, right? So I give you six things I find surprisingly difficult about yoga:
1. Just sitting cross-legged. It's so unbalanced compared to half lotus.
2. Getting my index finger joint on my palm down on the mat. It just stays up.
3. Remembering that the final shanti goes up and THEN down.
4. Using my toes independently. Especially my baby toe.
5. Balance (generally).
6. Finding my membership card in the roughly-but-not-exactly alphabetical card box.
