Went down to Steve's last night to price guitars, and they had one that I'd already shortlisted, a Yamaha FG-700MS. I'm kind of surprised they did, because the "M" (matte/satin finish) isn't exactly the common version. Anyhow, I thought I was pricing guitars but it turned out I was shopping for a guitar and in fact even buying a guitar, because I bought it!
Solid spruce top, nato sides and back, rosewood bridge and fingerboard. Nice low action, sounds great, and the solid top means it's going to improve over time.
Yay guitar! That's going to get much more use than the electric I sold to pay for it.
