I'm back...

It's been a while since I've posted here. The problem with waiting a long time between posts is that I like to try to post well-written commentary on things that are interesting to people who might be reading this, instead of "This was my day".

But if you wait a while between posts, then the next post has to be even better, since it's the post that's going to break the dry spell. So you wait longer, and then the post needs to be even better, which means you wait longer, and so on ad infinitum.

So screw y'all, here's a post about nothing in particular, in order to get me going again.

I found Ben Sherman shirts on sale today for $25. Does it get better than this? I think not.

In the next little while (read: when I have spare time and it's not sunny and beautiful out), I'm going to be digging up some of my favorite writing from my university days and posting it to my website in PDF. I'll be announcing newly-published stuff here, so now you have an even better reason than mirth and wit to keep reading. The list of stuff I might put up is here.

My car got rear-ended the other day. Took my bumper off, took his hood and radiator off, so I think I won. It was a bit of a pain for two reasons: first, it was the Friday night before the long weekend, and second, I had to figure out how to reattach a bumper on one of our hottest and most humid days yet. To ensure my daily recommended dose of irony, I was hit on my way home from the dealer.

But that's enough of that saab story.

  • New Year's resolution

I'm going to post this on my zen blog later this week, but right now I want to post it somewhere and I'm too tired to compose a post over…
